ABOUT ARIEL METZGER

Ariel Metzger is a seasoned event planner with nearly 20 years of experience helping high-profile clients create memorable, impactful events. She spent more than a decade as a senior event planner at Campbell, Peachey & Associates, a premiere Washington, DC events firm. In that role she managed all aspects of projects for clients including the Kennedy Center Honors, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Vital Voices and PEN/Faulkner. As the main contact with clients, Ariel managed communication with high-level donors, corporate sponsors, and special guests and liaised with co-chairs, board members and other stakeholders. She also oversaw all event logistics, from decor and lighting, to complicated gala ticketing and theater seating.

Ariel founded her own events firm, Metzger Events, in 2016. She retained many of her previous clients and expanded to work with clients such as the Brookings Institution, The Conservation Fund and the James Beard Foundation. Ariel combines her expertise with a deep knowledge of Washington, DC venues and vendors, and she has also managed events around the country and abroad. She brings her experience, attention to detail and passion for creating unique events to every project she takes on.
